What new FAA plans will mean to the future of drone journalism:

Doubters beware, the technology will continue to improve. I’m pretty excited about it too. I love new technology. This article talks mainly about larger UAS’s(Unmanned Aerial Systems). However, I’m also glad the FAA is staying ahead of this. But even the proposed rules never completely protect the innocent and there will be those who use these for nefarious purposes. Yet more privacy concerns. It’s also interesting that you may need a pilot certificate and training records if you are going to want to do SOME of the commercial types of work. Including a medical certificate O.o weird….. #journalism #drones #uas
