Doubters beware, the technology will continue to improve. I’m pretty excited about it too. I love new technology. This article talks mainly about larger UAS’s(Unmanned Aerial Systems). However, I’m also glad the FAA is staying ahead of this. But even the proposed rules never completely protect the innocent and there will be those who use these for nefarious purposes. Yet more privacy concerns. It’s also interesting that you may need a pilot certificate and training records if you are going to want to do SOME of the commercial types of work. This isn’t at all surprising if true. Teens are leaving Facebook in droves partly because of their parents being there. Moving to things like Snapchat, Voxer, and Instagram(yes FB owns it). Or Context or whatever messaging service is out there now. Facebook’s constant “change it first and ask for forgiveness later” policy is finally pushing enough people away. Especially when it comes to privacy concerns and teenagers.
This is a very telling sign that FB is very concerned about their future. They should be. Snapchat doesn’t need Facebook, Facebook needs Snapchat…. desperately. Smart move to turn them down if it’s true.

Let me first make clear that I LOVE the space program. I believe it’s vitally important to us as a nation and for the world. However, this torch in space thing is kinda ridiculous. My feed on all the internets keeps telling me to watch cosmonauts hold an unlit torch in space. I get the international unity thing. But, it seems to me like a very expensive stunt for ratings.
The space program is already exciting but no one ever shows any interest unless something bad happens. I wish I could go back in time to the space race days. When the “world” was actually watching. It’s sad. As for the Olympics, their ratings are bad as well. NBC lost $223 million on the Vancouver Winter Games. The Olympics has never been more about athletics but more about politics. I guess that’s why I’m totally disinterested in them. This torch “walk” in space, not the first torch in space actually, is one big expensive advertisement dressed up as a world uniting event. #olympics #spacewalk #olympictorch #sochi2014 #sochiolympics

Pay attention if you have an Adobe account. LastPass has put up a page to easily check to see if your account was one of the ones was compromised. Mine WAS and I’ve reset my password. Also, last year LinkedIn, Last.fm, and Eharmony’s sites were compromised and that LastPass page also allows you to check those sites if you have used them.
